The big new drilling EastGRIP will officially start in 2016, but this year the Dome and ice core drilling equipment will be moved from the NEEM ice core drilling site to the EastGRIP drilling site at the North East Greenlad Ice Stream. Several snow pits and shallow firn cores (15m) will be taken for chemistry measurements. Radar measurements will be undertaken too.
